You know, way back in the 80’s and 90’s, Levis commercials were some of my favorites. They made men look like heroes-you know, masculine, capable, handsome, etc. My very favorite Levi’s video is the ‘stalled car on the side of the road’ one. It’s appears below:
However, while looking for the ‘vintage’ Levi’s commercial I loved so much from the past, I came across another one I had never seen! It reminded me so much of something I might write that I had to share it with you, too! Ah ha ha ha! You gotta love the old Levi’s commercials!
Ahhhhhh! Love it! That first one is classic! And the second one IS right out of one of your books! Those were fun!
I feel deprived because I never saw those commercials when I was growing up….lol I thought they were great!

That second one is GREAT! It made me think, “aw dang it, he is supposed to catch her / them spying on him!” and in the next moment, “Good heavens what has happened to commercials these days? Old commercials like this are more fun!”
So the question is… to get a fix of romantic fun, do I pick up the book that holds a jeans model hero… or the hero who catches his girl spying on him in the river…? Decisions, decisions!!! ;^)
Who is the guy who appeared in the Levi’s 501 Commercial circa 1989 entitled “The Pick up”? He removes his 501′s ties one leg to his truck, the other to an overheated car & attempts to tow the car. He subsequently looses his bumper, his jeans and the car but makes a clean getaway with the girl. Love that commercial, WHO IS THE GUY?!!!
