As you know, I just LOVE music! AND I also LOVE to share my favorite music with anyone I think might enjoy it! So, since May is such a wonderful introduction to summer…how about three of my favorite CDs for this month’s contest?
Okay, first there’s the CD, Elf-Music From the Motion Picture…LOVE this one! There’s one track on it (the final track) that just doesn’t fit with the rest of it and has NEVER been a song I liked! However, that’s easy enough to skip, right? And I love this compilation of nostalgic Christmas music/songs! A favorite of mine any time of year!
Next there’s a CD of a group I discovered just a few years ago…The Ink Spots! These guys were great! This compilation includes my favorite song of theirs, “The Gypsy!” LOVE this one (listened to it a lot while writing The Trove of the Passion Room)!
Lastly, a lasting favorite that’s I’ve loved since I first heard it in the movie something like 17 years ago…The Soundtrack to Sense and Sensibility! It’s beautiful and very Jane Austen-ish! The first track, “Weep You No More Sad Fountains” gives me goosebumps and used to be one of my favorite solo pieces to perform back in the day!
So, here comes May and here comes some great music! Yay!
