Thought-Provoking or Motivational Quotes

Okay! You KNOW how I love a great, thought-provoking, sentimental, or funny quote from a book, movie, song, etc. right? I love a good quote that tickles my funny-bone or really makes me think. I believe a good quote can change my life…actually change me for the better. Thus, I decided to do an area here dedicated to quotes! Feel free to submit your own for consideration, but remember to include your name so I can give you credit, as well as where you found the quote. Here and there I’ll include my feelings on certain quotes as well…so I’m going to start slowly…just a few to begin with…maybe one in each category. Okay? So choose a topic and read what kind of quotes I find helpful or entertaining, and then share yours with me! I’m always looking for new ones!
To begin, here’s one I found last night…and boy-oh-boy can I relate! It’s from an adorable, everybody-should-read-it book entitled Hank the Cowdog! Hilarious! Witty! I LOVE it! It’s written from Hank the Cowdog’s point of view and I LOVE this quote:
“…even though they’re known to be cunning and vijalent vijalunt vijallunt vijjulunt…I don’t know how to spell that word. Spelling is a pain in the neck. I do my best with it, but I figger if a guy has tremendous gifts as a writer, his audience will forgive a few slip-ups in the spelling department.”
I know I don’t have ‘tremendous gifts as a writer,’ but as a romance storyteller, I hope my audience will forgive me for text errors, too! See what I mean? I loved it! Just a really cute quote from a children’s book that resonated with me! So please share some of your own!
